Ares Defender™ was created to provide cutting edge wearable armor to law enforcement, military, and first responders.
Aptly named after the Greek god of war, the Ares Defender™ is military grade technology inspired by NASA's Mars Rover Mission.
Between our passion for high tech gear and that Mars is the Roman name for Ares, our tactical shirt couldn't have a more fitting moniker.
The Ares Defender Tactical Shirt was originally created to provide cutting-edge wearable apparel to law enforcement, military, and first responders. Aptly named after the Greek god of war, the Ares Defender™ is military-grade technology inspired by NASA's Mars Rover Mission.
The shirt's core is our patented SWX™ textile. Not only is it cut, tear, abrasion, puncture, flame resistant, and thermally rated, it is USA-made and Berry Amendment Compliant.
The Ares Defender was designed by the operators at Shadow Works, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business. All of our apparel is designed with inspiration and input from our diverse team; 2 Navy SEALs, a former ATF Chief, a US Army Officer, and a British Military Veteran.
